Nke electronics (first established under the name Micrel) has had a department of oceanographic instrumentation since 1993.

In our premises in Hennebont, France, our experienced teams have means for development, manufacturing and metrological testing at their disposal. We are attentive to your needs and can ensure the implementation and technical follow-up of your products or installations.

Nke Instrumentation proposes a wide range of autonomous data loggers for the measurement of physicochemical parameters as well as more specific types of measurements (sedimentology, fishing, corrosion…). All our devices benefit from a significant autonomy and a communication system with no connector (induction or radio link).

Since 2004, nke has been deploying automated measurement networks, designed to monitor inland and marine waters. We propose technical solutions adapted to every environment, for the measurement, transmission and retrieval of data, with minimized maintenance requirements.

In the specific field of deep sea measurements, nke proposes a range of products designed to monitor the environment (observatory) or to carry out measurements in the sediments (piezometer, thermal flow).

Since January 2009, nke has developed its offer by integrating a range of profilers and drifting buoys. These products have been developed for many years and are used as part of large international programmes of research on the oceans (ARGO…).
