SPTH6000

6000m acceleration pressure data logger

The data loggers with date-stamped memory from the SPTH family allow the measurement of pressure down to 6000 metres with a maximum resolution of 26cm and acceleration along the axis of the housing in the range ±2g.

Housing:

  • Body made of Titanium and Ketron.
  • Dimensions: diameter: 40mm, length: 235mm.

Energy:

  • Lithium battery (factory replacement recommended):
  • Autonomy: in excess of 3 years in recording mode with a measurement every 10 minutes
  • In excess of 50 days with a 10-second measurement rate.
  • 4 days with a measurement rate of 1 second or less.

Sampling rate:

  • 100Hz maximum, which corresponds to a measurement rate of 10ms max.

Pressure channel (channel 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7):

Piezoresistive pressure sensor with Platinum membrane (maintenance-free).

  • 0 to 6000m range distributed over 7 stages (accuracy of distribution: +/- 10%).
    • Stage 1: 0 to 960 m
    • Stage 2: 830 to 1780 m
    • Stage 3: 1700 to 2640 m
    • Stage 4: 2560 to 3500 m
    • Stage 5: 3400 to 4330 m
    • Stage 6: 4260 to 5170 m
    • Stage 7: 5090 to 6000 m
  • Accuracy: approx. +/- 2.5m.
  • Maximum resolution: 26cm.
  • Overload rating: 660 bars.

Acceleration channel:

A +/-2g piezoresistive accelerometer sensor

  • Accuracy: 1%
  • Mechanical rating limited to 400g
  • Maximum resolution: 1.5 .10-3 g
